Event description

Co-hosted by the New Zealand Saxophone Society and Australasian Saxophone Collective, you'll be able to learn from top saxophone players from Australia and New Zealand, including Niels Bijl, Simon Brew, Michael Jamieson, and Tomomi Johnston.

The workshop will give you practical advice and coaching on aspects of saxophone playing, including breathing and tone production, reeds, articulation, dynamics and ensemble skills.

If you play in a concert band, saxophone quartet, or even a big band and would like to improve your skills and raise your level of enjoyment, come along and don't miss this opportunity to work with some of the southern hemisphere's leading saxophonists.

Ticket to this workshop includes free entry to the concert by the Australasian Saxophone Collective (tutors quartet) at 2pm.
