Camp Queer Cxntry

Camp Queer Cxntry is a unique overnight camping experience on private bushland in Bungonia. The property features a spacious house where our dance floor will be located, with music, drag performances, and great vibes

Set up camp just 150m from the house, with a chill out bell tent halfway between- perfect for recharging.

Dinner, breakfast and good times are all included -- so grab your gear, pitch your tent, and get set for a night of pure queer joy!

**DISCLAIMER:** Camping spots are limited, so grab a friend—or two or three—and get cozy in a shared tent!
Please only purchase an attendance ticket if you're also purchasing a camping spot, or you have a friend with one and you'll be staying with them! 

EVENT OVERVIEW:
Date: 25th Jan 2025
Location: Private Property Bush Block, Bungonia
Arrival: Between 3pm - 5pm. Gates close at 5 PM (no late entries) 

WHAT TO BRING:
- Tent, blow-up mattress, blankets, pillows
- Esky for BYO drinks/snacks, water bottles (refill available in the house)
- Power bank for phone, phone chargers & phones with torch
- Comfortable walking shoes, as the ground between the house & the camping ground can be quite uneven, especially walking at night 

SCHEDULE:
3:00 PM: Gates open; arrive early to get your 6.5m x 6.5m campsite set up early! Optional bush walking tour.
5:00 PM: Gates close; campsite setup
6:00 PM: Catered dinner (vegetarian, gluten free, options available) by the house where there will be a fire pit & music.
7:30 PM: Drag performances by Ellawarra & Ruby Jubilee + more
7:45 PM onwards: Dance floor indoor with Queer pop music!
9:00 PM: More Drag performances!
9:20 PM onwards: Dance floor queer pop music!
All Night: Chill-out space in a dedicated bell tent (halfway between campsite & house). 

EXTRAS:
- Indoor dance floor (DJ pending)
- Simple breakfast (toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice) provided the next morning
- Queer Cuntry Camp iron on patches for attendees
- Badge making table for pronouns and other fun things!
- Snacks & non alcoholic drinks will be available for everyone
- For those interested in getting to know the property better, there will be a *casual guided walk around the bush block* between *3:00 PM to 4:00 PM*. It’s a relaxed tour led by one of the hosts, giving everyone a chance to appreciate the natural surroundings before dark. This walk is completely optional, but it's a nice way to ease into the camp vibe and get acquainted with the space!
