Cabin Villages have electricity and heat and beautiful views. Each cabin has 4 bunk beds with 8 twin beds total. Mattresses are provided but guests needs to bring own bedding. Much faster than a tent and the convenience of electricity, light and heat. There is an option to buy either an entire cabin or a bed in a shared cabin. Cabin beds are in Tier 1 and Tier 2 depending village at $180-$200 including event admission.

Camping villages have open camping space for tents. There is no electricity in the camping villages. Lots of shade though, and more privacy vs sharing a cabin with 8 people. Camping village tickets are in Tier 1 at $140 per person including event admission.

Each cabin village and camping village contains an identical restroom building with bathroom stalls, sinks, and hot showers.

For those who want to elevate their comfort level, there are two premium accommodations for rent on site.

    (1) Cook's Cabin. Two bedrooms each with 2 bunk beds (4 beds each), and a private restroom with shower in the middle of the two bedrooms (shared by 8 people)

    (2) 4-Bedroom House. Three bedrooms with 4 beds each, one bedroom with 8 beds. Bathrooms with showers in each room.

Tickets are live. There is one ticket page (here).

Guests need to decide if they want to be in a cabin or tent camp, and which village they want to join, then purchase a ticket specifically for that camp. Or choose a premium accommodation.

Parking Passes are required for each vehicle, and are offered as an add-on ticket after you have selected your event tickets.

To encourage carpools, you will pay less with more people in your car. Solo = $30, 2 People in Car = $20, 3+ People in Car = $10.

If you wish to car camp, buy a camping ticket in the village you would like to be closest to, and then add a car camping pass for $50.

RVs are allowed but there are no hookups. If you wish to bring an RV, buy a camping ticket in the village you would like to be closest to, and then add an RV parking pass for $100.

Facilities on site are gorgeous! We'll have a heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool to chill out at during the daytime hours. A great central flat area nearby for our dancefloor. A 400-capacity dining hall for meals.

One of the nicest locations you will ever experience for a party, the facilities are new in the last several years and have won many design awards.

We offer a gourmet meal plan for extra charge - now live on this site, it is the first ticket listed.  Meal plan is 4 meals (Friday dinner, Saturday Lunch, Saturday dinner, and Sunday lunch). Serving times Lunch 11:30-2:00, Dinner 6:00-8:30pm.  Meal plan cost is 120 and is optional but highly recommended to elevate your experience and save you time shopping and prepping your own food.  If you bring your own food, note there is no refrigeration available for guests on site. Please bring a cooler, or if you are in a cabin with electricity, perhaps a mini fridge.

Gates open at 4pm Friday and dinner service begins at 6pm. Music starts at 7pm Friday evening. Expect 40 hours of music on the MainStage and a party bus in the off hours and at other times. Music stop 7pm Sunday evening

Our Location is easy to reach via all paved roads. It is a legal venue.

Tropical celebrates 26 years with this event - we started in an LA warehouse on October 9, 1998.  Tropical is not the biggest West Coast event by any means, but one of the longest running and most varied.  Events have spanned from warehouse to boat to beach to campout to retreat to festival and have occurred all over Southern California, Oregon, Washington, and 3 different islands in Hawaii.

Tropical is a nonprofit event that has raised over $33,000 for nonprofit causes over our 26 years.  After all costs have been deducted we will donate remaining proceeds to our Southern California nonprofit partner, Give a Beat, which funds:

Dj and production music programs for underserved youth
    Prison electronic music programs
Re-entry mentoring programs for formerly incarcerated adults

In short, we throw a fancy, ever-improving, high-level production for our friends while at the same time recognizing how fortunate we are to have the opportunity to, and for 26 years have given back to less fortunate communities while also exposing these communities to our beautiful world of electronic music.

After 25 years, Tropical was set to end but reversed decision and morphed into a collaborative event.  This is the first fully collaborative Tropical event and we are very grateful to Cheeze House Rekords, CUE (Create Unite Engage), Love Soul & Haus, and Terrakroma for embarking on this journey with us and keeping the Tropical dream alive!

We are all super excited about putting this event together TOGETHER. By collaborating, we increase our capacity to deliver an amazing event to our guests while experimenting with a new model that spreads out risk and responsibilities - we believe this is the key to a sustainable future in events!
