Campbelltown Writers Competition Awards 2024

The 2024 Campbelltown Writers' Competition runs from July to September. South Australian's are invited to submit their original stories inspired by the theme of Journey. Entries can be fiction or non-fiction but must not exceed 2,500 words and must have a link to the Campbelltown area, a Campbelltown resident or references to the City of Campbelltown. All genres and styles welcome. Entries are judged by Writer's SA across 3 categories, Junior Writer, Youth Writer and Open Writer, with a range of prizes available. 

The final awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 6 November at 6.30pm at the Campbelltown Library with special guests Mayor Jill Whittaker OAM and Author Victoria Purman presenting the awards.  

This is a free family friendly event with refreshments provided.
