Campbelltown Writers Competition Awards 2024

The 2024 Campbelltown Writers' Competition ran from July to September 2024. South Australian's were invited to submit their original stories inspired by the theme of Journey. Entries could be fiction or non-fiction but must have had a link to the Campbelltown area, a Campbelltown resident or references to the City of Campbelltown. All genres and styles were welcome. Entries were judged by Writer's SA across 3 categories, Junior Writer, Youth Writer and Open Writer, with a range of prizes available. 

The final awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday 6 November at 6.30pm at the Campbelltown Library with special guests Mayor Jill Whittaker OAM and Author Victoria Purman presenting the awards to the winners across the 3 categories.  

This is a free family friendly event with food and drinks provided.
