Event description

This is not your typical WOTT course—it’s a hands-on, responsive experience tailored to your vehicle and vision.

What to Expect: Over two days, we’ll dive into design, planning, and practical techniques, helping you to get started on the next step toward your dream camper/caravan setup.

In order to do that in 2 short days, we’ll be spending the first part of Saturday looking at your vehicles and your ambitions, and then starting to work through what materials you’ll need, what tools and machinery (and skills to use those), what order to do things in, how to get to the point of calculating materials and creating a cut list. Then we'll move onto a couple of simple exercises that will allow you to get hands on and acquire some skills and experience while still keeping everyone safe while learning to use the tools. By the time we get to Sunday afternoon, we’ll get you onto working on your own cabinets/fitout, under supervision.

Saturday 26th:

  • 9am - 10:30am  Introduction, discussion of projects (including tools, skills, materials), initial planning/design
  • 11am - 1:30pm Focus on design, cut list and build for double bed with underbed storage (Maxine’s caravan)
  • 2pm - 5pm Continue bed build; install bed.

Sunday 27th:

  • 9am - 10:30am  Focus on removing kitchen cabinets, design, cut list and build for new cabinets (Rachel’s camper)
  • 11am - 1:30pm Continue kitchen build; install kitchen cabinets
  • 2pm - 5pm Simple cabinet builds for other vehicles
