Loddon Valley Arts Trail: Campfire Concert with Carl Pannuzzo

Announcing: Hosts Mel and Tim Fitzgerald and Loddon Valley Arts Trail are delighted to announce that, with the assistance and collaboration of Djaara’s Dumuwul agency, the Campfire Concert with Carl Pannuzzo is now in Fentons Creek Hall, near Kooyoora.

Join Djaara at 11.30am for a welcome to country and smoking ceremony, right in the heart of Guyura (Kooyoora) country. You will hear about the mountain, then, after refreshments, settle in near the campfire, for music and songs by the amazing Carl Pannuzzo.

Carl is perhaps best known as vocalist for the acclaimed soul/blues/roots band Checkerboard Lounge, but has experience and talents spanning genres and decades. You’ll be immersed in both the music and the landscape: and you will be part of something quietly, resolutely, optimistically and resiliently special.

First sited on private land, then mooted for the State Park, this concert, thanks to the determination of organisers and Loddon Shire not to be defeated by bureaucracy, is now still within coo-ee of Guyura, in a corner of Loddon that is deeply embedded in the spiritual importance of place.
