Event description
FREE SEMINAR WITH
Professor Margaret Stanley is an ecologist at the University of Auckland specialising in invasive species and urban ecology research.
Margaret will talk about the impacts of urban development and people on biodiversity in cities, from city-scale impacts, such as tree removal and light pollution, to invasive species spilling out of our backyards. She’ll give some useful tips on ways we can make our backyards better homes for wildlife and how we can make city spaces biodiversity-friendly. Then stick around for a Q&A session after.
