Canberra's Biggest Nutbush: Line Up for Our City Limits!
Description
Ready to kick up some dust and pull out some moves for our bush capital? Join us for Canberra’s Biggest Nutbush where we’ll be lining up for our city limits!

Why city limits?
Canberra is the beautiful and well planned "bush capital" of the world because we have actively chosen to protect our bush in our urban planning system. Setting "city limits" is another way we can do so while also keeping our community closer to each other and the services they need. Over 2,800 Canberrans have already called on the ACT Government to deliver on their promise to set city limits, but after 16 months of waiting, we’re still entirely in the dark about where that line will be drawn. So, we’re drawing the line ourselves—with our dancing shoes! We are hitting the pavement to form a massive, record-breaking Nutbush line dance to call on the ACT Government to follow through on their promise to set city limits and to thereby protect Canberra’s Western Edge from suburban sprawl development for generations to come.
Who should come?
Everyone! We need over 350 people to make this Canberra’s Biggest Nutbush, so come along and bring your friends and family too! Don’t know the steps? Don’t worry, it’s easy to pick-up and you can watch this video to brush up beforehand!
Accesibility
We will have a seated and shaded area for people who cannot participate in the Nutbush line dancing but still want to show their support and listen to our speakers.
