CANBERRA - Creating an Inclusive Narrative
Event description
Upcoming Dates for Canberra:
Tuesday, 28th July, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Wednesday 26th August, 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Details:
The Australian Baha’i Community invites representatives of organisations, religious and cultural communities, the media, corporations, academia, think tanks, institutions and government to contribute to this national conversation rolling out in all states across the country. Through a consultative dialogue, characterised by reciprocity and respect, we will consult on: How do we describe our collective identity? Who are we? How can we become more socially cohesive and inclusive? What are the values, characteristics and practical steps which will strengthen social cohesion in Australia?
These roundtables will be the main forum by which the voices of Australia are heard, and where an exploration of fundamental questions relating to our identity as a country and the values of its peoples will be undertaken. The insights and contributions offered will be captured and synthesised into an Inclusive Narrative Document which will be made widely available to Government, civil society and the broader public. Further information on this project can be found on our social cohesion website:

Please Note: Due to the current conditions all roundtables will be held online.
The number of attendees at each roundtable has been capped so that each participant can contribute fully to the conversation. If the session you wish to attend has sold out, please register for an alternative session.
The roundtables will be held across the nation with current locations in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane and Darwin.
