Mens Walk - A Powerful One Day Workshop
Description
ARE YOU READY TO SHOW UP MORE FULLY IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS, CAREERS, OR AS FATHERS, SONS, BROTHERS?
This one-day workshop is an opportunity to step away from the roles, responsibilities, and pressure you carry every day. It is designed to support men in peeling back the layers of social conditioning and experiences that have held us back from showing up as the best man we can be. The Mens Walk shows you there is another way, creating the space for you to reconnect to what matters most along side other men who are carrying their own load and understand what you're going through.
THIS IS FOR MEN WHO:
Want to show up more fully in their relationships, careers, or as fathers, sons, and brothers
Feel stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, or disconnected
Want help processing pain, depression, grief, shame, or self doubt
Want to challenge themselves and do the work alongside other men who understand what they are experiencing
Want to break old cycles, start moving differently, and let go of what is holding them back
Want to release what they have been carrying
EVENT DISCRIPTION:
So many men were never taught how to express emotion, process pain, or speak openly with the fear of being judged.
We were taught to be strong, but not how to be supported.
To carry the weight, but not to ask for help.
Over time, this leaves us carrying shame, anger, grief, self-doubt, and pressure that boils beneath the surface.
It eventually affects how we show up in our relationships, our work, our families, and our own lives.there is another way.
This workshop shows you there is another way.
That you can be strong and still communicate and release your emotion too. Men experience pain, hurt, shame and guilt too, but we aren't taught how to express or release it. This event creates that safe space, connection and brotherhood for you to let go, speak, and heal with other men that understand what you are experiencing.
A journey to reconnect to the man behind the armour, mask and silence, alongside other men who understand what you are experiencing.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS:
Daniel Gaitau - Founder of Mānava and The Locker Room Barbershop, dedicated to men's mental health. Raised in both the Samoan and Fijian cultures, I birthed Mānava to empower others in navigating their own personal journeys.
While navigating the darkest time of my life, I placed myself in different spaces where I learned tools and modalities that changed my life forever. From that moment I knew these were too powerful to keep to myself and embarked on a journey to learn from the best in the country in-order to share them back to my community.
The spaces we create at Mānava are a combination of powerful tools and modalities that played a huge role in my story, allowing me to make a u-turn in my life which my family thank me for each day.
Usama Aissou - Founder of Spirasana in Sydney, Usama works alongside Daniel at The Brothers Voyage Mens Retreat and other events throughout the year. Usama specialises in trauma-informed practises and modalities to support individuals in reconnecting back to themselves.
Raised in Algeria and Western Sydney, Usama has walked many paths and found his way back, now teaching the tools that helped change his life around. From psychology to facia and spinal energetics, Usama works in this space full time in Sydney supporting people to live a full life.
