Electrifying heavy vehicles achieve big reductions in greenhouse gas emissions as well as air and noise pollution. With the ACT bus fleet going electric, when will we see electric commercial vans and trucks in Canberra? Join two experts to explore the future of electric heavy vehicles: Bryce Gato is an expert on electric vehicles and contributor for The Driven and Renew Economy. He has been working in the EV sector since 2008 and is the principal of EV transition consultancy EVchoice. Mark Hemmingsen is a director of Electric Vehicles Canberra and has been an integral part of the electric vehicle industry in Canberra since 2008, with over 10 years of teaching experience at the Canberra Institute of Technology. This webinar is free, however a donation of $5 would be much appreciated. A zoom link will be sent to all registered an hour before the webinar.

The Conservation Council ACT Region is the ACT region’s leading environmental advocacy organisation and hub for community groups. Our mission is to protect nature and create a safe climate future in the ACT and region.

Since 1981 we have been at the centre of the region’s most important wins for wildlife, bushland and communities, encompassing over 40 member groups.

We are a non-profit, non-government organisation that run campaigns, promote and upskill local groups, undertake research, advocate passionately, and engage and inform our community.

Our belief is in the power of collective action to create change.
