Canberra Women's Circle - a sacred pause
Women's circles have been seeding places for ideas, storytelling, recognition of feminine intelligence and spaces of reverence for generations. Often fear and shame keep us silent and seperate, removed from our shared humanity, and estranged from the circular, feminine wisdom that lives in our bodies and hearts.
In the calming and leafy surrounds of Featherston Gardens in Weston, our April Canberra Women's Circle offers time for silent contemplation, journalling and an invitation to share your reflections that come through in the moment. This month's circle invites you to remember that you and your daily life are full of sacred energy and promise.

Description
What would it be like if, right in the midst of life's busyness, to consciously take your hands off the controls? What if you were to intentionally stop the mental computations and rushing around and, for 90 minutes, simply pause and notice your inner experience?
A sacred pause is a suspension of activity, a time of temporary disengagement when you are no longer moving towards any goal. Pausing together in circle with like-hearted women invites you to remember who you are, whatever season of life you find yourself in.
"Through the sacred art of pausing, we develop the capacity to stop hiding, to stop running away from our experience. We begin to trust in our natural intelligence, in our naturally wise heart, in our capacity to open to whatever arises."
