Travel instructions

Take a car or tram to to 113 Swanston Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, Australia. The most convenient trams to the Capitol Theatre Melbourne are Routes 11, 12, 48, and 109. You should get off at Stop 6: Town Hall & Collins St, which drops you a very short walk from the Capitol Arcade entrance.

Enter via Capitol Arcade, opposite Melbourne Town Hall. The entrance is wheelchair-accessible via an elevator.

You will be greeted at the door to have your ticket scanned and will be guided into the foyer.

Toilet location

Toilets are located to the left of the cinema doors in the foyer.

Accessible parking

There is no dedicated parking available at The Capitol. Secure paid parking is available in close proximity at 330 Collins Street Car Park, also at Greenco parking at Council House and the Federation Square car park.
