CANNED HEAT - Bennetts Grove & Friends
Event description
A celebration of all that the inner west music scene has to offer with weekly rotating artists. Canned heat is always local, live, loud & free.
This weeks acts: Bennetts Grove!
Bennetts Grove is an emerging post-punk band from Sydney, quickly making waves in Australia’s alternative music scene. Drawing inspiration from acts like IDLES, Fontaines D.C., and Enola Gay, they bring a raw, electrifying energy to the genre.
With two EPs “Through Bared Teeth” and “Homeward Bound” under their belt, the band masterfully blends moody, melancholic atmospheres with industrial, hard-hitting aggression.
Having sold out the Lansdowne upstairs with their EP release and sharing the stage with Shady Nasty, Radio Free Alice, and ARSE, Bennetts Grove has become a focal point of the local post-punk buzz.
Now, with their 12-track debut album set for release in early 2026, they are ready to cement their sound—one defined by dark, emotional storytelling and uncompromising intensity.
