Canoe Discovery (12 years +)

Participants must be at least 12 years of age.

Learn how to paddle, have fun, while discovering some amazing features of the river system, and the animals that live there.

Basic skills for safety and technique are taught by Eco-Logic (who are conducting this activity) before entering the canoes.

Learn about indigenous land and plant use, human impacts and sustainable management of the river system.

What is supplied
Canoes, paddles and PFDs (personal floatation devices) are provided by Eco-Logic, and this activity is appropriate and safe for non-swimmers.

Essential clothing requirements:
Sun protective clothing
Warm clothes 
Shoes that can get wet, eg old runners, Crocs, or wetsuit shoes/booties (bare feet and thongs are not acceptable).
