(Cantonese/English) Bilingual Storytime

Co-organised by Joy of Giving and Metaverse Hong Kong (MVHK)

Target Age Group: 2–12 years old
Each child must be accompanied by at least one adult for the entire duration of the event.

Date: Saturday, July 19
Time: AEST 10:00–11:00 AM (or 12PM)
Venue: Joy of Giving Hub, 382 Pacific Hwy, Crows Nest, NSW 2065

Language: Cantonese + English
Fee: $20 per family for non-Joy of Giving or non-MVHK members; Free for Joy of Giving or MVHK member families

 

🎉 What to expect:
1. Introduction to Joy of Giving and exploration of toy collection – A meaningful initiative that gives toys a second life and helps every toy tell its story again! 🧸📦
2. Bilingual Storytime by Louie Leung (Environmental Educator, Asian Australians for Climate Solutions) – interactive stories introducing weather and climate change 🌦️🌪️

🎁 11:00AM Families may bring one bag of pre-loved toys, books, or dress-up items to exchange or donate. Sanitiser available on-site.

💖 If your child finds a toy in the JoG toy collection they love—they’re welcome to take it home!
