The Canva Essentials Skills Course 1 will introduce you to the basics of Canva for Education. This workshop will cover navigating the homepage, using the editor, finding and customising templates, and sharing designs effectively. You will be inspired and empowered in the development of your foundational skills, when creating teaching and learning materials for your class.
2. Canva Essentials 2: 20 May 3:45-5:00pm
The Canva Essentials Skills Course 2 will guide you through the process of designing within Canva for Education with confidence. You will explore creating presentations, using whiteboards, leveraging collaborative tools, and exposure to Canva’s Magic Studio AI features. You will be empowered to design interactive and engaging content that enhances your teaching and learning practice.
3. Interactivity and Getting Students On: 19 June 3:45-5:00pm
Canva Course 3 will guide you through innovative methods to enhance student engagement and assessment using interactive tools. We will explore how to incorporate interactivity into lessons, utilise customisable templates for teaching, assessing, and providing feedback, and seamlessly integrate students onto Canva. The course will also cover best practices for assigning work, sharing resources, and fostering collaboration, ensuring an engaging and dynamic learning experience. By the end, educators will be equipped with practical strategies to make learning more interactive and effective through Canva.
