This coming October 17th, we have a day with two wonderful workshops.
Level up your life and celebrancy with this day including two workshops from Oonagh Tanner and Sarah Carberry, detailed below.
Cost for this event are:
$25 for CANZ Members
$35 for General Admission
Includes morning tea upon arrival and a lunch.

About the workshops offered:
Workshop 1: Oonagh Tanner – The Emotional Baggage Handler
Our first presenter is Oonagh Tanner and I just love her business name, “The Emotional Baggage Handler”.
Oonagh is an Accredited EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner. This combines with her life experience (Hospice nurse and mother of 4) to produce a warm, professional space for her clients to explore, create and even play in. It is her experience that from this place you can gain a sense of increased lightness, freedom and choice.
Our time together will be fun, collaborative and informative.
Afterwards, you will have an understanding of EFT/Tapping, what an Emotional Baggage Handler is, and why you might care.
Along the way you will learn how to use EFT as an easy self-care tool that can slide into the slivers of time that exist even in a busy life.
There will also be a glimpse of the deeper levels of exploration- and choices- that are possible using EFT.
Rumour has it that this might include chocolate..
Presenter 2: Sarah Carberry – The Fare-well Trust
BEING AN AMICUS MORTIS (companion to the dying) AND LEARNING TO HOLD SPACE.
Sarah’s mother (Joy) was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2007. Sarah made the decision to move back home to Aotearoa, New Zealand, from the UK in 2010.
Joy is a Quaker who believes in the plain and simple. After many discussions about death and where she would feel the most comfortable at end of life, Joy expressed her wishes to die at home in her granny flat in the Mahau. Not having any idea how to accomplish this in a remote area, Sarah sought advice and training. A course on Deathwalking, run by Zenith Virago of the Australian Natural Death Care Centre, was life changing. Realising that a natural death at home in the sounds was an option, she began to explore and investigate further, not just for her mother but for anyone who wanted to die at home.
The Fare-Well Trust was formed thanks to collaboration with Jann Hook, Hospice Marlborough, amazing volunteers, Oncology departments at both Wairau and Nelson.
Compassionate Communities… (where we all support each other at whatever stage) have resulted in this beautiful end of life option.
