***Kindly note that this walk has been designed to promote fitness and will require moderate level of fitness to finish. We like to keep a steady pace during our walks, completing 12 kilometres in slightly over two hours. The pace will be moderate to brisk at times. There will be inclines, steps and elevation. Therefore, we suggest that you carefully review all event information and ensure that you can keep up with the group. If you don't engage in any physical activity during the week or lead a sedentary lifestyle, this particular hike may not be appropriate for you at this stage***

This scenic hike takes you through stunning coastal landscapes, native bushland, and very high cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the rugged coastline. We'll also explore Bushrangers Bay, a hidden gem with its secluded beach with amazing rock formations. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trail, this event promises an unforgettable experience as we immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of Mornington Peninsula!!!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WALK:

- Some inclines

- Uneven ground

- Exceptional fern gullies

- Improved fitness

- Toilet at beginning

WHAT TO BRING:

- Water

- Snack. Ie: Banana, high protein snack, Jam sandwich.

- Electrolyte energy drink

WHAT TO WEAR:

- A good pair of walking shoes is necessary, which could be hiking shoes or boots. It is recommended to avoid jogging runners as they may not provide enough grip, although it is not a strict requirement. No open toe shoes.

- Decent socks. Ie: a mix of wool, nylon & elastane. Non bulky (Visit hiking stores)

- Compact jacket

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

This walk is NOT suitable for children (18+), babies in carriers or for people who do not walk more than 5km’s at a time. This is a National Park, therefore no dogs or animals allowed.
