CAPSA Webinar: National Week of Prayer and Action - Freedom to Live for Refugees and People Seeking Asylum

The Catholic Alliance for People Seeking Asylum (CAPSA), co-convened by Jesuit Social Services and Jesuit Refugee Service (Australia), will host a webinar on September 5 as part of its annual National Week of Prayer and Action (4 - 8 September). The webinar will explore the National Week of Prayer and Action’s theme ‘freedom to live for refugees and people seeking asylum,’ inspired from Pope Francis’ theme for the 109th World Day of Migrants and Refugees held on 24th September 2023: “free to choose whether to migrate or to stay”.

The webinar will explore what freedom to live means for refugees and people seeking asylum, current barriers and challenges preventing refugees and people seeking asylum from having the freedom to live their lives and how all members of the community can all take action to support people seeking asylum.
