Event description

This program is suitable for Dietitians and Diabetes Educators, including new graduates working with people with diabetes.

This ½ day ONLINE program is designed to increase health care professionals’ knowledge and confidence in being able to accurately count carbohydrates in exchanges and grams to match different insulin regimes including insulin pump therapy.

This program will provide Dietitians with skills to teach carbohydrate counting to clients, and Diabetes Educators with greater understanding of carbohydrate counting principles when working with clients with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes.
