About the presenters:
Chris Wyhoon - Chirs runs Campfire Agri, which specialises in whole farm planning, facilitation, training, and agricultural sustainability projects including carbon farming. Along with chairing WA Regenerative Livestock Producers, Chris is a lifelong farmer himself and has worked with hundreds of farming families over the decades, making him extremely well placed to deliver this vital program to farmers.
Bonnie Jupp - Bonnie is the Program Manager at RegenWA with a wealth of experience in the natural capital accounting space, having participated in audits across 50 farms and recently become certified as a General Expert through Accounting for Nature. Bonnie brings both lived experience and technical knowledge to the natural capital discussion, enabling her to effectively communicate relevant, practicable information.
Joc Dwyer- Joc is a local Bindoon farmer who was announced as the 2025 Perth NRM Region Soil Health Champion in March. Joc puts sustainable agriculture into practice that allow him to address local challenges like soil compaction and aluminium-affected soils, ensuring a resilient and productive farm ecosystem. Joc brings an important local, on-ground perspective to the carbon farming discussion.
This event forms part of the National Industry-led Carbon Farming Outreach Program. This program is designed to deliver un-biased, independent carbon farming knowledge to primary producers and ag advisors, with no sales pitch, aiming to help:
- farmers and land managers to make informed decisions to lower their emissions
- farmers and land managers increase their knowledge of greenhouse gas emission management
- trusted advisers to provide advice to farmers and land managers beyond the life of the program.
Delivered with funding support from the Commonwealth of Australia through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water under the Carbon Farming Outreach Program in collaboration with the Grower Group Alliance
