how and why natural capital is relevant to a farm
what opportunities and challenges may lie ahead for farm businesses.
Having a better understanding of carbon and natural capital fundamentals will help you navigate these aspects of your farm business in a more empowered way.
When:
Tuesday 2 September, 8:30am for a 9am start.
Presentations will be complete by 1pm in time for lunch.
Morning tea and lunch provided.
Presenters:
Clare Edwards, Development Officer (Carbon), with the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development's On-Farm Carbon Advice Team. Clare has extensive knowledge in soils, pastures and grazing management and has worked with LLS and DPI over many years in the Northern and Central Tablelands and slopes of NSW.
Rachel Lawrence, Natural Capital Advisor, with Local Land Services On-farm Natural Capital Program. Rachel has a range of experience in supporting farmers to protect an improve their farm environment for production as well as conservation outcomes.
