Carbon in Farming: Confusion to Clarity
Event description
South Coast Natural Resource Management is excited to partner with Stirlings to Coast Farmers and Wilson Inlet Catchment Committee to deliver a series of workshops on carbon in farming. The workshops will empower farmers with the knowledge and tools to navigate the increasingly important topic of carbon in farming, its impact on the agricultural business, and its significance on a global scale.
The “Confusion to Clarity” sessions will be delivered by leading speakers who will share up-to-date, locally relevant, scientific and honest information in a collaborative environment. The workshops will explore how carbon impacts farming systems, and how management changes that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve carbon storage can also improve efficiencies, production and ultimately profitability.
We look forward to supporting farmers in this space to feel more confident, at ease and prepared.
This event is funded by the Australian Government, through the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate - Smart Agriculture Program.
