Card Making Workshop // West Winds OCT School Holiday Program 2026

Come along for a fun and creative card-making workshop where you’ll discover how simple techniques can transform paper, colour and embellishments into beautiful handmade cards you’ll be proud to give.

Alison will guide you through a range of creative techniques, sharing clever tips and tricks along the way. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to experiment, play with ideas and create cards with your own individual style.

Techniques may include:

✸ Embossing – add texture and dimension
✸ Sanding – create interesting finishes and effects
✸ Piecework – combine papers and patterns creatively
✸ Fussy cutting – cut out detailed elements for beautiful designs
✸ Stamping – build patterns, backgrounds and decorative details
✸ Colouring – bring your designs to life
✸ Mounting – layer and assemble your cards for a professional finish

Whether you’re a complete beginner or already love getting crafty, this is a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you can learn new skills, try different techniques and let your creativity take the lead.
