An educational session looking at treatment of patients presenting for emergency care as a result of cardiac causes.
Learning Outcomes include:
Acute Coronary Syndrome – Principles of Management
Tachy and Brady arrhythmias
Skills and Case Based Discussions
DC Cardioversion
Transcutaneous Pacing
This program is suitable for ALL staff who work in the Emergency and Acute Care Setting. Particularly Medical Staff, RMO's/JMO's, Associateship in Emergency Medicine Candidates, Nurses, GPs, Career and Volunteer Paramedics, and Medical and Nursing Students
A light afternoon tea is included but places are limited, and priority will be given to individuals who provide emergency care in Naracoorte and the Limestone Coast Network and surrounds.
This topic will be presented across all LCLHN Sites throughout 2026.
