CARE Conversation: Activating 16 Days in the Loddon Mallee

Join the Conversation. Let’s prepare together for this year's 16 Days of Activism campaign to be held 25 November-10 December 2024. 

A CARE Conversation event bringing CARE Partner organisations and other key regional partners together to: 

• Share fresh ideas and opportunities for this year’s regional 16 Days campaign 

• Hear from CARE Partner organisations about successes and challenges from past campaigns and activities for 16 Days. 

• Learn about what to expect in this year’s regional 16 Days Toolkit. 

• Contribute to the development of regional collective action during this year’s 16 Days campaign 

Guest speakers: 

Janica Boord - Sunraysia 16 Days of Activism Working Group 

Janica will be sharing some insights about Sunraysia group’s collaborative efforts to create a banner and inject art, creativity, and values-based messaging into their campaign. The Sunraysia 16 Days working group consists of members from multiple organisations across Sunraysia and was formed to drive community engagement during the 16 Days campaign. 

Danielle Paterson - Campaspe Family Violence Action Group (CVFAG) 

Danielle will share CFVAG’s experience hosting the fabulous Be Bold Brunch held during last year’s 16 Days campaign for women in Campaspe Shire. CFVAG comprises members from multiple organisations in Campaspe and drives primary prevention initiatives addressing gender-based violence within Campaspe shire. 

Tina Helm – Communications Lead, WHLM 

Tina will take the group through some of the tools and resources that will be available on the Women’s Health Loddon Mallee website in the lead up to the 16 Days of Activism campaign, including the 16 Days of Activism toolkit, the regional calendar, a suite of editable campaign resources, and an online regional campaign.
