Care for the Choral Voice: Post Event Video - A Workshop for Choir Directors and Singers

Join us online for the post event video from our interactive workshop for choral directors and singers. In this video Dr Naomi Cooper will take you through the best-practice in vocal technique to help you get the most out of your choral journey, whether you are a director, a singer, or that reliable member who gets called on every week to run the warm up.

Good vocal technique can fall through the cracks when you’re singing in or conducting a choir. We know that it would make our choir sound better but it can be low on the list of priorities when you have repertoire to learn and performances to prepare for. Join Dr Naomi Cooper as she helps you learn how to care for your voice and others’, and how to teach or practice vocal technique in choral contexts. This workshop is designed to help choral directors, choral singers and those of you who are called on to step-in to run the warm-up, take the session, run a section or take a leadership role. The day will comprise of a 1.5-hour presentation, followed by a 1-hour workshop. This event has been filmed from our in-person event for those who may have missed the fun!
