Description

On the Sunshine Coast, fathers and father figures are welcomed into pregnancy, birth and early parenting care alongside mothers and their babies. The model of care behind it was co-designed with midwives and child health nurses, and it runs inside a Queensland Hospital and Health Service.

Please join Assistant Minister Ged Kearney MP and Dan Repacholi MP, Special Envoy for Men's Health, for a day with the families, clinicians, researchers and leaders who made it happen, and a series of round table sessions on what comes next. There will be news to share on the day.

We promote positive parenting for fathers and father figures and give new Dads the support and connection they need. Our early intervention approach provides new Fathers with positive social relationships and easier pathways to health services if they need them.
