We would like to invite you to join us and celebrate! Step back in time to the 1950’s and experience “old Darwin” at The Sunshine Club!
On Saturday, 9th October the CareFlight hangar at Darwin International airport will be transformed into “The Sunshine Club”. The scene will be set…..Old Darwin style, The Sunshine Club represents the emergence of the culturally rich and diverse music and dance scene of Darwin during the 1950s. The Sunshine Club reflected and celebrated the melting pot of cultures in Darwin. The club in Parap became the scene where everyone was welcome. It created a fusion of music and dance that helped break down barriers with the wider community.
Sip on locally designed cocktails reminiscent of the era and enjoy a 3 course culturally rich Territory inspired menu and beverages. Music from the Darwin Rondalla will set the scene. Later on you can kick up your heels with The Mystics.
The night will be complete with a live auction and reunions with past patients. Come and enjoy the night with us!
All funds raised from this unforgettable night will go towards providing our advanced trauma teams with essential training and medical equipment, as well as enabling the NT Rescue Helicopter to continue saving lives.
