Our programs are free or low cost to maximise accessibility for our whole community. However if you have the capacity a donation is greatly appreciated. Donations are tax deductible. Kickstart Arts is a community arts centre and registered charity in Hobart. We’re home to 20 resident artists, 16 organisations including The Story Island Project, Lutruwita Arts Orchestra, and The Sunlight Kitchen, and dozens of community, multicultural and dance groups. Last year alone we welcomed 43,000 visitors and hosted hundreds of workshops, performances, cultural events, and wellness activities. Our focus is on creativity and health - using art to strengthen community, support wellbeing, and foster connection across lutruwita/Tasmania. Supporting Kickstart means investing in the health, culture, and social fabric of lutruwita/Tasmania.
