Eligible unpaid carers are invited to take some time out for themselves at this FREE respite event for relaxation and an opportunity to connect with like carers who live in your local community.

Description of the event:

Carers are invited to attend free Reiki sessions for the month of October (every Monday) at BHN Parkdale. We are very excited to offer this modality to more Carers who can benefit from it profound healing benefits.

Sessions are run by qualified and experienced Reiki practitioners who will guide you through the basic principles of Reiki while giving you a treatment; time for you to unwind in a relaxed setting free from distractions.

Sessions will run for one hour and Carers can enjoy light refreshments and something to eat post session; which can either be enjoyed onsite or you can take away with you.

When you book your ticket the Carer Respite team will be in touch with you to check what time you would like to attend. You are welcome to book for multiple sessions, please only book one ticket (two if you are bringing your Care recipients) our staff will be in touch with you to check how many sessions you would like to attend including your time preference each week. We will do our best to accommodate the time you would like; sessions will be running on the hour from 10am to 3pm.
