Event description

There are approximately 2.65 million carers across Australia, making up almost 11% of the population. Over 50% of Carers reported some level of depression, with one third found to be severely or extremely depressed. More than one third of Carers are experiencing severe or extreme stress (ABS, 2018).  

Following these findings the Foundation wishes to extend and continue the discussion from 2020 around mental health and wellbeing of Seniors in Australia and how can they be supported better.
