This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

The JSPA is proud to support the Carey Celebrates Literature Festival again in 2024.

Junior School families can pre-order afternoon tea of a cupcake (chocolate or vanilla) and an apple juice Pop Top / water to enjoy before they attend a session with special guest presenter Leigh Hobbs on Tuesday 14 May in Metcalfe Hall at 3:30pm. Leigh will be teaching the children how to draw Mr Chicken and Horrible Harriet.

Afternoon tea will be served outside Metcalfe Hall from 3.00pm until 3.30pm, followed by the event which runs from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

All orders must be placed via Humantix. We kindly request that families complete one order per family to make the distribution of afternoon tea quicker. There is also an opportunity to donate to the Library for new furniture to make the space even more special (via the JSPA) when placing your order. We thank you in advance for any support you can provide.

Please note that all children who participate in this fantastic event must be supervised by a parent or guardian from the conclusion of the school day and in the session with Leigh Hobbs.

The Afternoon Tea is only available to families who are attending the session with Leigh Hobbs. ELC children are welcome to attend with their JSK siblings. Please note that numbers are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment!

Ticket sales for afternoon tea will close by Tuesday 7 May 2024 in order to finalise orders.
