Event description

Join EarthSkills of Manitou as we celebrate the Spring Equinox & reawaken our key role as caretakers of the earth through a grounding nature communion and a thought-provoking presentation. Become inspired to engage in stewardship by planting gardens both inside and outside of the picket fence through this educational and inspiring evening designed to deepen your familiarity with your local environment!

🌿 Practical Skills – Unlock curiosity as we explore impactful techniques like seed collecting, root transplanting, and sustainable foraging—actions that benefit our inner & outer ecosystems.

🌞 A Deeper Connection – Remember humanity’s essential role in nature & leave feeling empowered to make a positive, lasting impact on the landscapes you love.

🌼 Hands-On Challenges – Take home interactive prompts that inspire attainable, ongoing engagement with local friends of the plant world.

🤝 Experience the true spirit of the Smokebrush community as we gather for farm-fresh cuisine, lovingly prepared with ingredients from our fields—and be among the first to welcome this season’s newborn goats!

Together we will identify processes that allow us to "leave better traces" of reciprocity in nature rather than avoiding impact as passive visitors.

🎟️ Reserve your spot today and join us in fostering a more sustainable future through cyclical interactions with the land!
