Whānau Fun at Ōtara Creek Reserve – Conservation Hīkoi
📍 Meeting Point: 168R East Tamaki Drive, Ōtara


Join us for an afternoon of discovery and connection with nature, in partnership with Ōtara Waterways and Lakes Trust! This family-friendly conservation hīkoi is a great way to explore the beautiful Ōtara Creek Reserve, learn about native ecosystems, and find out how we can all be awesome kaiawhi (advocates) of the whenua.

We’ll walk the land, hear local stories, spot invasive species, and learn how to protect our natural taonga (treasures)—all while having fun outdoors with whānau and friends. Perfect for curious kids, nature lovers, and anyone keen to make a difference!

We will finish the afternoon with kia and share our reflections.
