Event description

Carnival of the Animals is a collaborative affair between Artists Deborah Halpern and Rubyanna Edwards. In this inaugural exhibition, Halpern’s enigmatic animalia will come alive through the lens of another peculiar entity.  Edwards has taken the great artist's sculptures out of the real world and rehomed them in the digital realm.  Activating the environment and perhaps disrupting the gallery, this sprawling site-responsive, projection installation is an abstract fantasy of light and colour.

The artists welcome you to experience Carnival of the Animals for one night only on Saturday 29th, March at Qdos Arts, Lorne.  So, make a night of it & celebrate the joy of collaboration with us! The bar will be open and pizza ovens blazing just for you.

Join us from 6:30pm as we await the night sky and launch the animals into it with a live performance by techno producer Her Waveform.

This event is proudly created in partnership with Little Projector Company and Qdos Arts
