Travel instructions
ChillOut Shuttle bus has a dedicated bus stop at Victoria Park, Daylesford, the home of Carnival. This stop is also the drop off and pick up location. Cars and Vans can access Victoria Park easily. Public Transport Train services operate to Daylesford via Woodend, Ballarat or Castlemaine with connecting coach services to Daylesford. There are also more frequent trains to Ballan, however you will need to get a taxi from Ballan to Daylesford (approximate 25 min drive). Daylesford is about a 90 minute trip from Melbourne CBD travelling by car
Entry instructions
There is two entry points to this event. The main entry is from the Victoria Park entrance off the Daylesford-Ballan Road. The second entrance is from Burrell Street. This entry is smaller and there is no dedicated accessible car parks. Patron entry gate to Carnival is approximately 300m from the main Victoria Park entrance and approximately 100m from the Burrell Street entrance. Both entries are a flat surface of bitumen, gravel and a solid dirt and grass. Once on site the majority of the ground surface is short cut grass. Dedicated buggies are available to transport guests from the main gate to main performance area. There is no dedicated buggies from the Burrell Street entrance to the main performance area.
After entry instructions
From the main entry gate, follow the gravel and solid dirt path approximately 60m to the main performance area. Buggies are available as a courtesy to help if needed. From the Burrell Street entry, follow the gravel road approximately 60m to the main performance area. There are no buggies available from this entry.
Hazards
This is an outdoor event with some uneven grass and dirt surfaces. The event is held during the day and in all weather conditions.
Toilet location
Toilets are portable. Accessible toilets are situated to the right side of the stage, behind the large trees. There is no hoist in the accessible toilets.
