Cary Lewincamp with Djangos Tiger: Round 2

The April show was so good, we just had to do it again, so, due to popular demand, we’re delighted to present this special concert once more on 20th December.

Cary Lewincamp is one of Tasmania’s most loved musical icons, with a body of work often described as the sound of Tasmanian life. Deeply reflective and emotionally nourishing, Cary’s music is shaped by his love of home, family, landscape and the rhythms of island living. His compositions resonate far beyond Tasmania, touching listeners around the world who have discovered in his music a sense of calm, connection and belonging.

Over the years, Cary has received countless messages from listeners sharing how his music has become part of their everyday lives, from welcoming newborns and settling children to meditation, study, dining, and quiet moments of reflection. His music accompanies people through life’s most intimate and meaningful moments, forming a profound and personal bond with its audience.

This SOHO Arts performance offers a special opportunity to hear Cary’s beautiful compositions in a new light. Django’s Tiger are very excited to perform with Cary again, exploring how his much loved tunes can be embellished, expanded and reimagined, creating space for subtle interplay, fresh textures and spontaneous musical conversation.
