Casey Tech School VCE Lab Intensive

Get hands-on with the techniques and equipment that matter most in VCE Science — in a professional laboratory setting, for free.

Casey Tech School is running a two-day intensive for students currently studying Units 1–4 Biology or Chemistry. With places capped at 24 per day, you'll get genuine time on the equipment — not just a demonstration.

Biology students will work through:

• Coliform testing

• Agar plate preparation and use

• Gram staining

• PCR

• Gel electrophoresis

• And more, time permitting

Chemistry students will work through:

• Sample preparation for instrumental analysis

• Operating HPLC, FTIR, and NMR instruments

• Interpreting results

• Data analysis workshop (time permitting)

You can book for one day or both — each day runs independently.
