Illustrator and comic artist Kristyna Baczynski hosts this one-on-one interview with Caroline Cash, discussing her career, influences and life.
The inimitable Caroline Cash is a Chicago-based cartoonist who specialises in underground comics and zines. Her work has appeared in various institutions and publications, including The New Yorker, MoMA, The Chicago Reader, VICE, and The Nib. She is best known for her comic series PeePeePooPoo, which won an Eisner Award for Best Limited Series in 2024.
Bim Eriksson will open the evening with a 20-minute performance reading of her debut graphic novel Baby Blue, which has been translated into seven languages. The live narration will be accompanied by projected animation and sound. The piece was recently performed at MoCCA Arts Fest in New York and at Hamburg Comic Festival.
Bim is a comic artist based in Stockholm, Sweden. Her works have been published in Le Monde diplomatique, Internazionale, and Galago, among others. She devised the visual concept and stage design for two of Sweden’s most celebrated pop stars and has worked on many public art commissions.
Bim Eriksson’s UK visit is supported by the Swedish Arts Council in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden, UK as part of their Stories From Sweden programme.

Cash’s work blends humor, surrealism, and social commentary, making her one of the most exciting voices in contemporary comics.
