Acrobats meet stand-up comedy

A refreshing and uplifting conversation between three generations. Funny and heartful,
these powerhouse women win you over within minutes of hitting the stage. Wearing
multi-coloured hand-knitted costumes they share their lives and ideas while holding each
other up both literally and metaphorically. They challenge gender conventions with
kindness and humour and entertain without arrogance. A combination of words spoken
while upside down, standing on shoulders or midway through a backflip. The full range of
emotions are explored where the audience can join in the laughing, crying and screaming.

Casting Off is important: it suggests that the voices and bodies of women of all ages are
worthy interesting and even funny. That we should be seen and heard, that we are
dynamic, courageous and hilarious.
