Halloween: Glitz & Glam at the Gaol 🎃

Get ready to glam up, get spooky and step into the night at the Old Castlemaine Gaol this Halloween.

From 7:30pm, the gaol transforms into a glamorous playground of glitz, glam, spooky surprises, cocktails 🍸 and dancing.

Explore the atmospheric gaol as 10 cells are transformed into a dazzling Trick-or-Treat Alley, each with its own creepy characters, games and unexpected delights.

Then head into the gaol atrium for the live band, and— an after-dark DJ set bringing big beats, Halloween energy and plenty of dancing to the gaol.

This is your chance to go full glam — think sequins, sparkle, feathers, fabulous costumes and a touch of the macabre.

Expect creepy cocktails, big tunes, dancing and a suitably spooky late-night party.

Dress ups encouraged but not mandatory!

*There will be no parking at the gaol. We anticipate large numbers of kids and families trick-or-treating in the nearby streets, especially early on and strongly advise parking at near the railway station or botanical gardens, or consider a taxi, riding or walking!
