Casual First Date is a sketch comedy show where everything is made up on the spot. We take a one word suggestion from the audience, and pounce on it like a jungle cat, tearing it up into stories, scenes and sketches and a whole jungle of laughs. Anything can happen, from singing hedges, to wormholes activated by embarrassment, to child lawyers, to toasters hitting on you!
Casual First Date is a cult favourite comedy crew who have performed for sold-out crowds from the Coromandel to Christchurch. Each show is different, featuring a revolving cast of your best improv pals; Rebecca Mary Gwendolon, Helen Jarvis, Catalina Vercelli Giurda, Karolina Brock, Gareth Blackler and Mel Bass.
