Catalytic Capital Report Launch
Description
About this event
Australia has one of the largest private wealth markets in the world, yet much of that capital remains misaligned to the social and environmental challenges we collectively face. Some of the most urgent opportunities - in environment, affordable housing, First Nations enterprise, and other underserved communities - are deemed uncertain for conventional finance to reach on its own.
Catalytic capital is one way to bridge that gap: capital that moves first, absorbs early risk, offers flexibility and patience, and gives other investors the confidence to follow.
Join us for the launch of Unlocking Catalytic Capital in Australia, a new report commissioned by the Paul Ramsay Foundation and authored by GoodWolf Partners. Drawing on international field-building work, local case studies, and primary research with Australian practitioners, the report builds a shared understanding of what catalytic capital is, how it's being used, and the role it can play in unlocking greater impact.
In this webinar, the project team and sector leaders will unpack the report's key findings and explore what it will take to move Australia from isolated examples to a more coordinated, confident catalytic capital market.
