Help protect our iconic platypus by removing invasive Carp from the Werribee River and learn how to fish sustainably 🎣

Carp degrade waterways by increasing turbidity and competing with native species. Join us for a morning of fun, fishing and education to support our local waterways 💧

Learn about the local platypus population and how Carp impacts these elusive species and our waterways.

  • Event is located in Peppertree Park Bacchus Marsh, near the carpark by the Aquatic Centre.
  • Fishing gear provided or BYO.
  • This is an outdoor event. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring water.
  • Light refreshments provided.
  • This is a free event, but registration is essential.
