Event description

The Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ), the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE) and the New Zealand Association for Environmental Education (NZAEE) have roles in promoting ‘best practice’ in environmental and sustainability education (ESE). To identify the characteristics of best practice, data were gathered from over 400 environmental educators from Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The data is presented in the report Catching the Wave: Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Educators’ Perceptions of Environmental and Sustainability Education Practices – Informing a joint position statement through recommendations on regenerative education.

This launch event will share key findings and describe the next steps to co-designing the joint position paper. Your feedback on the report is welcomed (and we have set up a survey to collect it - this will be shared at the launch).
