What to Expect

• Cattle Tick Program Update – Last year, the Minister for Agriculture appointed Dr Katherine Clift as Independent Biosecurity Commissioner (IBC), tasking her with identifying improvements to cattle tick management in NSW. Following a review of the current program, 14 recommendations were made to strengthen biosecurity outcomes.

  New Eradication Action Plan and $7 million funding boost to rebuild the NSW Cattle Tick Program | NSW Government

• Next steps from Department of Primary Industries & Regional Development (DPIRD) following the IBC report on the NSW Cattle Tick Program
