Event description

ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Combining the worlds of ‘1984’ and ‘The Truman Show’, the Unit 3/4 Drama class has created a show which explores ideas of utopia and dystopia. Entirely devised by the class, the performance uses elements of poor theatre, epic theatre, and theatre of cruelty to create a contemporary and thought-provoking show. Using iconic characters from the two films, the performance invites the audience to consider the role of surveillance in the modern world and our role as individuals in upholding systems of oppression.
